Craftsmanship in its arches, character in its walls...
Once owned by a man named “Alamango,” this historic stone structure carries its elegance into the present.
Every step of its restoration was carried out with both mastery and reverence.
Surrounded by greenery, this house offers not just a stay—but a pause that follows the traces of the past.

Built in the early 1900s by Mr. Alamango, a Greek-origin resident, the “Alamango House” is the largest stone structure located in the very heart of Old Datça.An authentic example of Symi Island architecture, the building had long stood abandoned and derelict. In 2000, it was faithfully restored through a three-year restoration process and transformed into a local cultural landmark offering unique, short-term and seasonal accommodation with its 3 rooms.
